Territory Manager, Industrial Markets
Location: East Coast, USA

The Position:
Territory Manager will be responsible for achieving revenue objectives, managing sales channel and key accounts within the specified territory.

Responsibilities:
  • This person will carry a quota and be responsible for sales of all Geomagic products. To achieve the revenue quota the employee will be required to develop and manage indirect sales partners as well as selling and supporting directly key accounts identified by the geography manager.
  • To develop indirect partners, the employee must be able to train the appropriate staff on the key benefits of Geomagic products, the markets and applications the software addresses, how to position and demonstrate the products, address the competition, describe the customer value proposition and support Geomagic pricing, policy and procedures.
  • At key accounts, the employee must be able to assess the customer’s requirements, demonstrate the appropriate Geomagic products, detail the value proposition and manage the entire sales process from first contact to close of sale.
  • The employee will be responsible for providing feedback regarding Geomagic software performance, areas for improvement, new opportunities and general market conditions.
Requirements:
Physical Requirements:
  • Working in a normal office environment. Substantial travel, up to 40%.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree and/or 6+ years of work related experience in mechanical design, manufacturing and DSSP technology.
  • Experience: 4+ years selling, (carry a quota) and supporting customers in applicable markets. Candidate with experience with laser scanners or similar hardware, DSSP applications and Geomagic, or similar software, a plus
  • Must be willing to travel up to 40% of time. Work independently

  • Good problem solving skills will be called on to create new solutions to old problems.
  • Skilled using latest technology appropriate to the position, e.g. RE, CAD or surfacing software
  • Good presentation skills, able to convey a vision of the company and products and can be called on to present at industry conferences.
  • Teamwork. This person will be need to matrix manage through various divisions of the company to achieve objectives while respecting competing objectives.
