DSSP Defined
DSSP, or digital shape sampling and processing, is a category name that encompasses multiple technology advances. It describes the ability to use scanning hardware and processing software to digitally capture physical objects and automatically create accurate 3D models with associated structural properties for design, inspection and custom manufacturing.
Geomagic is recognized as the thought leader for DSSP and for a decade has helped customers and industries realize the value benefits of DSSP.
Major publications such as Inc. Magazine, Society of Manufacturing Engineers Bluebook, Time Compression Technologies magazine, and others, use DSSP to describe the category for measurement system hardware and processing software for unlimited applications.
