Measurement Systems (3D Scanner) Manufacturers

Many measurement systems manufacturers provide 3D scanners that support capturing data for DSSP. Most scanners produce either an open data format for x,y,z coordinate data and store that in an ASCII file. Others have a proprietary file format complemented by an open exchange format. When purchasing a measurement system for your needs: consider accuracy, volume, speed, and color in your decision. In addition, consider your specific application, the size and scope of your project, and the range (distance) of the object from which you will be collecting data.

For a list that includes the accuracy, volume, color and speed for most of these scanners, see the 3D Scanners Report.

The following companies make measurement systems that can collect data for DSSP.

If your company makes measurement systems or 3D scanners used for DSSP, and you would like to be represented on this page, please send an email requesting consideration to Geomagic Marketing.
